As you may know by now, Massachusetts’ own Matt Millett had the opportunity of a lifetime as he was the only Special Olympics athlete from the US selected to play at this incredible event. The experience he had not just on the field was one we are confident he will never forget. The opportunity to meet and gain the friendship of many people from across the globe was truly what Special Olympics is all about.
Matt along with the other Unity Cup athletes had the chance over the past week to show the world just what they and the entire Special Olympics movement has the power to do; bring people together.
