We have a great friend in Planet Subaru of Hanover. This car dealership in Hanover recently exceeded the $100,000 mark in car donations to our Recycle for Gold program. Owner Jeff Morrill has been supporting the program for many years and has easily convinced many of his customers to donate their unwanted car to Special Olympics Massachusetts instead of trading it in.
The funds generated from the program really helps fund our sports programs as well as all the health related initiatives such as our Healthy Athletes programs.
Recycle for Gold takes unwanted vehicles and disposes of them in an environmentally-friendly manner, something Jeff and his team appreciate at Planet Subaru. As Subaru tries hard to convey this brand of taking care of our environment, it fits well into Jeff’s business model.
