On Sunday, August 23 thousands of motorcycle and car enthusiasts throughout the Northeast will head out on the road for Dream Ride 2009, a charity motorcycle ride and car show benefitting Special Olympics. Bozzuto’s Inc. and The Hometown Foundations Inc. team once again are leaders of the pack for this charity ride.
Motorcycle rides will start from 17 satellite start locations around New England, including Tibby’s Harley Davison, 227 Berkshire Ave in Springfield starting at 9am.
Last year, more than 5,000 participants from across Connecticut participated in Dream Ride 2008 helping raise more than $100,000. This year’s event should be bigger and better than ever as motorcyclists from six other states including Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York and Pennsylvania join riders in Connecticut to support Special Olympics. That weekend, all roads will lead to The Farmington Club in Farmington, CT for the 2009 Dream Ride and Car Show. All participants will be treated to a Black Angus strip steak & boneless chicken breast lunch along with live music and vendors.
