Michele Adler is a Special Olympics athlete to watch. Adler, from Lenox, is training to compete in bowling at the 2010 National Games. She has been an athlete for 17-years and also competes in: aquatics, cycling, golf, tennis and Alpine skiing. This well rounded athlete is also a teacher at the Lenox Children Center. Adler looks forward to making new friends, having fun and trying her best at the National Games. She exhibits the dedication, discipline and drive required to prepare for a National Games competition. Although she has to overcome unique obstacles on a daily basis, like most SOMA athletes, participation in sports greatly enhances her life.
