Middlesex Savings Bank Helps Out The Yawkey Sports Training Center

Recently, a few executives from Middlesex Savings Bank visited the Yawkey Sports Training Center, SOMA’s new headquarters in Marlboro that opened in October 2009.  During the tour, bank members viewed the state-of-the-art facilities which provide training accommodations, health education programs as well as office and meeting space for employees.

Middlesex Bank members were so impressed with the Yawkey Sports Training Center and the opportunities it provides for those with intellectual disabilities, they made a $25,000 donation to the Center. The contribution was a natural fit for the bank as the institution is very community-oriented and dedicated to making a positive impact on the quality of life of those  in need. Since their inception over 175 years ago, Middlesex Bank has generated a strong reputation as a generous contributor to various civic, nonprofit and community organizations. This has helped them grow into one of the largest and most robust financial institutions in Massachusetts.
