The law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP held its 9th annual golf outing to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts on Thursday, September 22nd. More than 100 golfers had the opportunity to play at the Myopia Hunt Club in South Hamilton; Myopia is one of the most prestigious golf courses in the United States and has played host to the US Open on four separate occasions. As is par for the course, Special Olympics Athlete and ace golfer Keith Peabody was the talk of the day as he challenged all golfers to a closest to the pin contest when they arrived at the tee box for the 16th hole.
The day concluded with a tremendous meal for all golfers and a rousing live auction that helped to raise over $50,000 for Special Olympics Massachusetts. We can’t thank our friends at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP enough for their tremendous support, not just this year, but in the nine years they have hosted the tournament. We are all excitedly looking forward to celebrating the 10th anniversary next September at what will no doubt be another amazing day.
