Over on her blog “The Revelry Project” Boston-based writer, editor Victoria Welch vividly describes the experience of repelling down the Hyatt Regency with Over the Edge for Special Olympics Massachusetts.

“Hey, Mom, I’m going to have to call you back a little later. Is that OK?” I looked to my left and smiled as a brunette woman, about my age, tried to hold back laughter. “I don’t know if you want to know where I am, actually … OK, fine. I’m ducked behind a car across the street from a SWAT team about to raid a house … No, I’m just fine! It’s a Jeep Cherokee. Plenty of coverage. Let me just call you back. Love you. Bye!” cont.

As she describes of herself, “When not working on The Revelry Project, Victoria is most often found drinking coffee, training for her latest road race, singing karaoke, or cheering on the Bruins from her spot in the Garden balcony.”
