The experience will hit especially close to home for Natalie, whose brother Pat has Autism and is a Special Olympics athlete.
Natalie is a proud supporter and advocate of her brother Pat and of the Autism Awareness campaign and recently contributed to the Best Buddies blog, which featured an article she wrote about her brother. In her article, Natalie promotes acceptance and a better understanding of Autism and people with disabilities, saying that, “understanding is the key to acceptance; to understand that everyone is different and some people need extra help, extra time, extra attention and a little extra love.
